竹の軽さやしなやかさはそのままに、食器洗浄機で洗っても曲がりにくく、塗装が剥がれにくい竹のお箸。
スス竹・・・竹を炭化加工(竹を高温で蒸すことで糖分を抜くこと)したもの。深みのあるやや落ち着いた茶色。

This bamboo has been carbonized—steamed at high temperatures to remove natural sugars—giving it a deep, subdued brown color with a refined appearance.
